This knife was hand forged from W2 tool steel and has a differential heat treat that allowed me to bring out this beautiful Hamon transition line between the hard edge and soft spine. The handle is made from African Blackwood and has some very comfortable contours and facets. It is pinned this peened copper pins so you can still see the hammer marks in the domed and polished pins. I made a vertical belt sheath for this one with 9oz Wickett and Craig Skirting Leather and hand tooled it with an aggressive rock border pattern and the shape of the handle is pressed into the mouth of the sheath.
