The Astra is my EDC folder design. It is made to be a beautiful little piece of art in your pocket. The handle frame, pivot and back spacer are made from grade 5 titanium. I have always felt that titanium was some sort of other worldly material. It is a super light, strong and corrosion resistant material which makes for an incredibly durable handle. I made the blade from CPM Magnacut which is the top of the line stainless steel that provides incredible edge retention, corrosion resistance and wear resistance that makes the blade very difficult to scratch. The pocket clip is made from my own Mosaic Damascus made from 80CrV2 and 15N20. The frames are anodized to be a subtle purple/bronze color when they are dry but with a thin layer of oil they will become an even bronze color (you can see the difference in the photos below). The knife comes with a bedside table box so it has a home each night. This is a long lasting unique piece of art in your pocket, ready to be deployed at need.
Each knife I make comes with a Certificate of Authenticity with the details of the knife laser engraved on the aluminum card.
