The Vector Chopper is a perfect blade for taking out with you to chop some firewood or beat your way through the bush. The blade is made from O1 tool steel and is around 59-60 Rockwell hardness which gives it great edge retention but also makes it very tough to be able to withstand a lot of heavy wood chopping. The handle is made from Wenge, Curly Maple liners with a Canvas Micarta bolster. The curly maple liners are tapered down towards the butt of the handle and the micarta bolsters have a curved transition into the rest of the handle. It comes with a very handsome brown leather sheath made from a 4oz pull up leather over 4 oz skirting leather to make about 8oz thickness overall making it a very sturdy and beautiful sheath.
